Send a thought isn't as simple a task as it sounds as mummy I have sat down countless times to send a thought to you but the truth is that there are just too many that run through my head. You were without doubt the most incredible mother, my best friend and confidant. I will love you to eternity and there is not one day that I don't think of you. Thank you for all you did for so many. I know you are the brightest star in the sky and boy do we miss you. Have a blast up there, I know you will!

Barb has been part of my family's life for as long as I can remember. She was my late mum's best friend as well as her bridesmaid and losing her has been a huge loss to all of us. I cannot remember a time when Barb wasn't smiling and I'll miss her wicked sense of humour. She was beautiful inside and out and I shall cherish the memories I have of her and Jim xx

My late mum had been best friends with Barb since childhood. Our mum adored her, and we always knew that they shared such a special bond over many many years. She would always look forward to their meet ups, and with our dad & Jim too, would share the most fun-filled times together, which would of course normally involve some wine!! Barb was one in a million, funny and thoughtful, and I am so glad that our mum had her as her friend, because she was truly special. Love you xxx

So glad I caught up with Barbara earlier this year. A lovely lady.

Barbara was such a wonderful lady, she was an amazing friend, incredibly loyal and loving. It was such a privilege to be part of Barbara’s life and to be able to call her my friend. I will never forget how kind she was to me and how that never changed, even when she became unwell she was always more worried about other people than herself. Barbara always put others first and if you were lucky enough to be her friend, she would support you and defend you to the ends of the Earth, she really was one in a million. I miss our daily chats and check ins by WhatsApp, text or ‘phone, she was so wise, so very funny, so utterly wonderful and I miss her presence in my life so very much, I even miss her telling me off when she thought I was in the wrong or making a mistake, which she used to do……..a lot! Journey well my dear friend, love you, always. X
